You might be wondering, “What even is evidence-based hiring?”

It’s the future of job search!! If you want to be proactive about staying on top of the latest trends, so you can stand out to employers, you better listen up…

Evidence-based hiring has formed as a result of the current hiring system. The system we use today is very broken and is leaving job seekers and employers alike, completely frustrated.

This is what the current hiring systems consist of Job seekers send text-based resumes to recruiters and hiring managers who have to filter through hundreds of applicants for a single position. Many times, resumes don’t even make it into the eyes of a real person, leaving job seekers upset and searching for a better way to get noticed. On the other hand, recruiters will pull resumes that they think are a good fit, only for the hiring manager to interview the candidates and realize they’ve lied about their skills and experience. Advancements in AI and tools like ChatGPT have made it easy for job seekers to write fancy resumes that make them look good but leave employers annoyed when they realize they’ve been lied to.

Job seekers need a better way to stand out to employers and employers need a better way to verify that candidates are who they say they are. That’s where evidence-based hiring comes into play! Evidence-based hiring utilizes video to allow job candidates to impress employers in ways that a traditional resume cannot. Video gives employers the evidence they need to authenticate job seekers, their skills, and their experience. It’s a win-win for everyone!
